Fertility Information:
Fertility can be a challenging issue for many women (and men).  Perhaps the once easy thought of getting pregnant has now been marred with numerous attempts, tests and contemplation of fertility options.  This leaves families confused and frustrated.  Many seek out the "easiest" methods to address it or just accept the diagnosis.  If choosing to address it, know that there are numerous safe and natural therapy approaches you can utilize to improve your fertility.  Just as the body, a great communicator, houses the problem, it also houses the answer.  Your body is letting you know where the blockages, upsets and unresolved issues lie.

Allopathic Medicine: Fertility drugs
"Fertility drugs, such as clomiphene and gonadotropins, regulate your reproductive hormones and trigger the release of one or more of your eggs per ovulation cycle.
Most women use them for three to six months before conceiving or trying a different kind of treatment.

• Side effects: Clomiphene can cause headaches, visual symptoms, hot flashes, cramping, bloating, and vaginal dryness. Gonadotropins can cause soreness, bloating, and rashes. Both can increase your odds of having twins or more.

• Cost: Clomiphene pills cost at least $50 a month (not including the cost of doctors' visits, ultrasounds of your ovaries, or follow-up procedures such as artificial insemination). Gonadotropin injections cost $ 2,000 to $ 5,000 a month (including doctors' visits and tests).

In vitro fertilization (IVF)
During in vitro fertilization (IVF), eggs removed from your ovaries are fertilized with sperm (from your partner or a donor) in a laboratory. The resulting embryos are placed in your uterus.
• Side effects: You may need to take fertility drugs before the procedure, which will raise your risk of having multiples and of developing ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS), [which has led to golf size inflation of ovaries and manic moods]. Plus, if you use your partner's sperm, he'll have to provide a sample on demand.
• Cost: This procedure usually costs between $8,000 and $15,000".

All self-exploration can be achieved in one-on-one therapy, journaling, meditation, visualization and prayer.

Natural Remedy Modalities to assist Fertility:
Change in diet and health lifestyle.
Homeopathy
Enzyme Therapy
Reflexology
Herbs
can add nutrients to the body and assist in the healing process.
When a body has the appropriate food/nutrients, it functions better; they contain high concentrations of vitamins, minerals, and other chemical constituents, as well as, the power of the life force within them.

Use of birth control pill can have long-term ramifications on the body, such as compromised immune system, breakdown in liver function and faulty reproductive functioning, which may lead to fertility challenges.
Once you have discontinued using birth control, Aromatherapy and Homeopathy are excellent remedies to bring your body into balance.

Morning sickness involves nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.  It is a condition that affects more than half of all pregnant women, as well as some women who use hormonal contraception or hormone replacement therapy. Usually, it is present in the early hours of the morning and reduces as the day progresses. The nausea can be mild or induce actual vomiting.

In extreme cases, vomiting may be severe enough to cause dehydration and weight loss. Nausea and vomiting can be one of the first signs of pregnancy and usually begins around the 6th week of pregnancy (week 1 starting on the day your last period started). It can occur at any time of the day, and for most women it seems to stop around the 12th week of pregnancy.

Current allopathic medicine include, Corticosteriods (some possible side effects include weight loss and nausea and vomiting).

[Steroids are used for severe morning sickness; however, there is some concern over fetal brain development with prolonged dosing at high levels and use during the first trimester.]

[Complications including reduced birth weight, increased risk of preeclampsia, and increased risk of oral and lip clefts have been reported when corticosteroids were administered during early pregnancy.]

If you had a sensitive or challenged stomach/digestive system prior to pregnancy, it will be so during pregnancy.  When it comes to diet, it is more about trial and error, giving your body small amounts of food and allowing a wait period to feel the response.  Still, consume foods that are stomach-friendly, such as ginger, peppermint, oranges, stevia, chamomile.
Keep the diet low in salt, sugar and fat (fried food); these tend to disrupt the digestive system.  Sipping water throughout the day may with assist hydration and oxygenation of organs.

Combining your revised diet with Enzyme Therapy is an excellent approach to further assist and repair the digestive system.  Your body may be struggling to process food because of a lack of enzymes.

Known as the construction workers of the body, enzymes are natural chemicals in our bodies that greatly assist proper assimilation of food and support the health of our organs, without them life would not exist!

Enzyme Therapy entails muscle testing on various areas on the body to determine the enzyme status for that specific part of the body.  A new diet plan is structured in order to correct imbalances in the body, along with taking the plant-based enzymes.
